Welcome to the Home of the Magic Chest

I am hoping that you enjoy your tour of the Magic Chest. I plan to make it as fun as I can and still be informative and entertaining at the same time. I think that can still be accomplished. Hello, and all of that. This is the new home of the Magic Chest. Basically, you will see a lot of stuff on here. Anything could be on this site at anytime. Well, almost anything. Basically, the Magic Chest is the home of all of my ideas and brainstorms from over the years. Somewhere on here you will see a link to an on line game that I am currently running. You will also see links to pages that have stories from a short story war that my friends and I are in the process of having. There is also a link to some of the art work that my very talented husband, Brian Healy has done for me. Lot's of fun stuff, so please enjoy and feedback is appreciatged.

Things to look for on this site....There are links to Saivryth an online Roleplaying game that is run in an IRC channel of that same name. Everything in it came from my very fertile imagination. There is also a link to The Game Archives, which is the site of all of our short stories from our group. A link is on here to see the art work from my loving husband, Brian. I should also be including links to my friends web pages. As well as other info as the site permits.

Let's see, what can I tell you about myself? Well, I read a lot of books..mostly sci-fi, fantasy, a few historical romances, even an autobiography or two. I could give you a whole list of what I consider to be good books to read. Just ask..I will admit that sometimes my taste in authors is strange and unusual but that's the story of my life. The strange and unusual.I write. Granted I haven't been published yet. But I still do it. I have a lot of stuff in my head that I write down when it wants to come out and be on a page in some form of print. I lived in Jersey, then moved up to New York when I was little and haven't left the state yet. Still here, in New York, with my writing, my books, my cat and my husband. Speaking of which....

My husband.... He's the best. Okay, here is how it goes with him. For those of you that may know him, Brian Healy, also known as Sir Swealter, does armour for a living. Yes people, I am married to an armourer. For those not in the know, that means he goes out and makes those big metal suites that people in the SCA or at the Renesiance Festivals wear to beat the crap out of each other on the weekends. It has been fun living with someone that has six suites of armour in their basement as a deterent to stop thieves and such from entering the house....One look at all of it, and you really don't feel like breaking into this place. After all, you might get broken instead. When he isn't making metal armour, he actually has a day job sculpting plastic armour for Broadway and places like that. He also draws. His art work has won awards at some of the sci-fi conventions that we have attended. If you follow the links properly, you will actually see some of his stuff on here. He also makes really kick ass costumes for the Costume Contests at the sci-fi conventions that we go to. They have all won awards of one type or another. So, that is a little bit about my husband.
